because…
Harper’s Runway Report is on Newstands Now!
Regrettably, I couldn’t make it out to WSA this season.
SO, I will be following Snobette’s blog very closely this week. Nicholas Kirkwood and Creative Rec are hot. I’m digging the high-gloss finish. Drool..
What Who else is hot right now?
Garrett Neff-the new face for Calvin Klein’s men’s fragrance. Yum.
I’m not one for S&M, but…
you’ve got to check out August’s featured photog, Mariano Vivanco, at Dazed Digital. His genius play on gender will have you wondering who’s who?
While you’re over there take a peek Viktor & Rolf’s interview (w/exclusive pics!) about their exhibition at the Barbican Art Gallery in London.
Elle says “KATE HUDSON ET LANCE ARMSTRONG, C’EST FINI !”
And just in case you haven’t been briefed yet:

I Want

I Wish
Back like Barack
July 28, 2008
Sorry for the long pause. Not to worry, we’re back. Happy Sunday!
I WANT:
Yes, Kim Kardashian is a babe, but I want her Chanel hobo…
(OldNewsFlash) Will I am spotted wearing these Obama AF1s @ the BET Awards show…

(images via ybf).
Obama’s campaign slogans are printed on the shoes (“Yes we can” and “Change”) with two different portraits of the candidate painted on either side. Never have been crazy about advertising politics on your wardrobe…
Rainy day in NYC. In an attempt to ease the recent pangs of childhood nostalgia I walked toward FAO Schwartz, but I was turned off the by massive crowd of tourists and soon after distracted by Bergdorf’s window display. Escaloator-ed up 2nd floor to check out the fall shoe inventory. Tried on these
and these in black leather
(neimanmarcus).
Perfect for the transition into fall and they look beautiful on the feet. Worth the blow to the bank account.
Speaking of childhood, a recent insert in Paper Magazine showcased this new puzzle-like sneaker collection by Julia Hederis for K-Swiss. I like!
